Worcester Named Greenhill Head of Upper School

On Monday, October 23rd, Head of School Scott Griggs in conjunction with Lee Hark, incoming Head of School, appointed Trevor Worcester as Head of Upper School.

Since his appointment last spring as Interim Head of Upper School, Worcester has proven himself to be an exceptional leader. He has earned the full confidence of the Administrative Team and the entire Upper School faculty. A great communicator, his focus on the entire academic and extracurricular program, on teaching and learning, and on the quality of student experience has established a clear and appropriate direction for the Upper School.

Worcester has nearly 20 years of experience at Greenhill, both in the classroom and in administrative roles. Since his arrival in 1998, he has distinguished himself as a master teacher, exceptional advisor, and talented administrator. A Classics major from Bowdoin College, Worcester served as Modern and Classical Languages department chair from 2007-2017, while also teaching Latin in both Middle and Upper School. A member of the Upper School Leadership Team since 2001, he has served as co-chair of the Upper School Vision Committee in 2016-2017, and has continued driving that work in his new role.
