Greenhill Delivers Big in Annual Estelle Dickens Drive Benefiting Hurricane Harvey

The Greenhill School community showed a lot of heart during the Annual Estelle Dickens Drive benefiting those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Greenhill - which collected items for Hurricane victims in each division - delivered the donations to Buckner Children & Family Services, which provides residential programs for at-risk children and families. Their mission is designed to enhance the lives of orphans and desperate children and foster care programs both domestically and internationally. The Buckner facilities located in Houston, Conroe, Aldine and Beaumont were all affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The recipient of backpacks and school supplies went to specific schools within the Dallas Independent School District. Currently, there are 235 students who are already enrolled at J.F. Kennedy Elementary, A.W. Spence Middle School or North Dallas High School with the majority of these students coming from the Beaumont and Port Arthur areas. Other families and students are living with relatives and friends in the Dallas area and are enrolled in other school districts.

Below are some of the items that Greenhill raised during the Annual Estelle Dickens Drive:
