Greenhill Upper School Students Selected to USA Debate Team

Greenhill Director of Debate Aaron Timmons, Jr., announced that senior Shreya Agarwala and junior Brian Zhou have been selected to the USA Debate Team for the upcoming 2017-18 season.The USA Debate Team is comprised of nine high school students from across the country who vied for membership through an application process that included multiple videos, essays and personal interviews to go along with documentation of an outstanding record of Debate performances. This past season, the USA Debate Team finished third overall at the World Championships in Bali, Indonesia - which was the country's best result since the 1999 season. The team competes all over the country to go along with international competitions that will be held in Germany, Croatia and Singapore.Timmons will once again serve as Head Coach of the USA Debate Team.
