Girls Capture Greenhill/Luke's Locker 6-Mile Relay Title

The Greenhill girls cross country team captured first-place honors at the Greehill/Luke's Locker 6-Mile Relay on Saturday morning at Norbuck Park.Greenhill's team of senior Chandler Crates, juniors Cameron Crates and Ariana Luterman and freshman Maddie Hatfield finished first overall with a time of 36:50 in the 4A Division. The second Greenhill team - comprised of senior Madison Cook, junior Erin Puckett, sophomore Kyra Moran and freshman Kaiti Ness finished 8th overall with a time of 39:51.On the boys' side, the Hornets' top team of juniors Daniel Brickman, Eli Krakow and Matthew Zweig along with sophomore Jacob Shepherd finished fourth overall with a time of 31:12. The squad from Sanger High School finished first while Decatur High School, St. Mark's School of Texas, Greenhill and Pilot Point High School rounded out the top-five.
