Greenhill Alumni Featured in National Film Festival

Two Greenhill alumni were recently featured in the 16th annual National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY), where both were honored with awards.

Evan O’Brien ’17 won an Audience Award for Noodles Forever and was one of the opening night highlighted films. The film is described as “en route to his daughter’s birthday party, a hapless father annihilates a wiener dog with his car.”

Jaclyn Goldstein ’19 won for Best Experimental Film for I Remember It From Up Close, described as “a recollection of the moments between a phone call and a plane ticket as a girl packs her suitcase for a funeral.”

NFFTY is the world’s largest, most influential film festival for emerging filmmakers under the age of 25. The festival “remains the premier destination for young artists to showcase their work, connect with their peers, and lead the community towards a more equitable film industry."

Congratulations to Evan and Jacyln for a job well done!
