Hornets Have Busy Week at Relays, Invitational

The Greenhill boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Texas Relays and WT White Longhorn Invitational over the weekend, bringing home many personal and season records.

Jaden Watt competed in the 100 meters, running his second-best time of the season at 10.93 to finish in 15th place. 

In the 4x400, the boys (Jaden Watt, Alex Sharma, Jack Bovard, and Aaron Johnson) and girls (Nia Harrison, Celina Prieur, Kaylee Wilson, and Jenna Travers) both finished with big six second season best times 3:32 (39th) and 4:07 (28th) respectively.  

The boys 4x100 (Aaron Johnson, Jack Bovard, Alex Sharma, and Jaden Watt) and the girls 4x100 (Lyna Kamgang, Nia Harrison, Celina Prieur, and Leah Smith) ran 44.10 and 51.5.

 

This meet allowed younger Hornet athletes a chance to compete and put their hard work into action. The WT White meet saw 18 boys’ and 11 girls’ personal records on junior varsity and varsity. See individual varsity results below and meet results here. (PR= Personal Record, SR= Season Record)
