Hornets Roll Past E.S.D. in Conference Action

The Greenhill girls basketball team played their best game of the season resulting in a win at Episcopal School of Dallas, 69-66, on January 13.

Sibelle Zambie and Leah Smith led the team in scoring with 41 and 13 respectively. After being asked to make a commitment to rebounding, the team delivered, led by Anyiah Calhoun and Sibelle Zambie grabbing 13 boards each, and Katie Stone had 9 in her return from her shoulder injury. 

After giving up a half-court three-pointer to end the third quarter, putting Greenhill down 47-49, they battled to take the lead and hold it down the stretch to end the week with a second conference win.
