Greenhill Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent to Vanderbilt

Greenhill seniors Lee Dort and Noah Shelby each signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball at Vanderbilt University on Wednesday afternoon in a ceremony held in Phillips Gymnasium.

  • Ranked as nation's No. 66 prospect, No. 13 center, and No. 6 player in the State of Texas by 247Sports
  • Ranked as nation's No. 48 recruit and No. 10 center by Rivals
  • Ranked as nation's No. 24 center by ESPN
  • Chose Vanderbilt over Memphis, Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, and Baylor

  • Chose Vanderbilt over Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas, and Memphis

Dort and Shelby will be part of a Vanderbilt recruiting class that is ranked 19th nationally and fifth in the Southeastern Conference. Vanderbilt is coached by Jerry Stackhouse, a former two-time NBA All-Star and College Basketball National Player of the Year for the University of North Carolina. The Greenhill teammates will make up the highest-ranked recruiting class since Stackhouse arrived at Vanderbilt.
