Hornets Open 2021 Season at Hebron Hawk Invitational

The Greenhill boys and girls cross country teams both recorded top-10 showings in its 2021 season opener at the Hebron Hawk Invitational on Saturday morning.
 
The boys cross country team recorded a seventh-place finish with a total of 201 points. Senior Jonah Yaffe led the Hornets with a time of 11:03 en route to finishing 16th overall while Chris Williams placed 19th after crossing the end line at the 11:09 mark. Travis Mann and Andrew Mann finished 54th and 62nd, respectively, with times of 11:34 and 11:43.
 
The girls cross country team notched an eighth-place finish with a total of 177 points. Seniors Kendall Hashimoto and Mia Ness led the Hornets with times of 13:16 and 13:33 en route to finishing 19th and 26th, respectively. Ella Dzialowski notched a time of 14:00 to place 44th overall while Charlotte Purcell finished 61st overall with a time of 14:19.
