Hornet Sports Report - April 2, 2021

BOYS LACROSSE
The Greenhill boys lacrosse team pushed its record to 6-0 on the season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Cumberland Academy on Thursday afternoon. The story of the game was the Hornets' defense, who was led by goalie Campbell Barton's 10 saves. In addition, defenders Jake Nelson and Noah Grimsley combined for 15 ground balls and six caused turnovers in the contest. Kellen Smaw, Jadon Lee, and Mateo Lanzilotta all scored goals for the Hornets.
 
GIRLS LACROSSE
The Greenhill girls lacrosse team dropped a 15-5 non-conference decision to Flower Mound Lax Club on Thursday afternoon at Brinkmann Field. The Hornets are currently 1-3 on the season, including 0-1 in SPC Counter action.
 
BASEBALL
The Greenhill baseball team suffered a 4-3 setback to T.A.C.A. in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon. The Hornets are currently 11-7-1 overall on the 2021 season.
