Greenhill Captures TQBA High School State Championship Title

The Greenhill Quiz Bowl Team captured its first-ever Texas Quiz Bowl Association State Championship title after defeating crosstown-rivals St. Mark's School of Texas in the final round.Greenhill posted a perfect 11-0 record during the Round Robin Tournament then entered the playoff round as the tournament's top seed. Greenhill defeated St. Mark's School of Texas "A" Team - who was seeded second in the tournament - on the final question. The team is comprised of Josh Rubel '22 (captain), Shruti Siva '22, Gokulan Anand '22, and Nikki Nandipati '24. Anand finished fifth overall in the final individual standings while Siva (10th), Nandipati (14th), and Rubel (17th) all finished in the top-20, respectively.Greenhill has advanced to the national tournament, which will take place later this spring.
