Summer on the Hill Update

Dear Greenhill and Summer on the Hill families,We hope all of you are doing well. I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we have continued to analyze our options for our 2020 summer camps at Greenhill School. The health and safety of our campers, counselors, faculty, and coaches are our top priorities. We are continuing to monitor and follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, as well as from state and local health officials and authorities as we consider our summer program.It is with very heavy hearts that we share that we have canceled Summer on the Hill camps and classes from June 1-26, except for our Upper School courses for credit, which will be held remotely. The decision to cancel all campus activities in June was very difficult, but given anticipated social distancing requirements, we felt that we would not be able to offer programming in a way that would meet the needs of our campers and families. In the history of our summer program, this is the first time we have had to make such a drastic adjustment to our offerings.At this time, we are hoping to offer on-campus camps in July and August. We are working with our faculty regarding our camps and class offerings during those months, so please continue to check the website for the most up-to-date schedules for July and August.tarting next week, we will begin processing refunds for June camps paid in full or apply deposits and payments towards your July/August selections. Refunds will be issued to your credit card on file and will include payments towards the registration fee and deposit, and camp/class charges previously paid. Remaining balances for July/August summer camp selections will not be processed on May 28 as planned. We will continue to assess the situation and will collect balances in late June if we are able to return to campus. The balance due date for Upper School remote courses for credit will be processed on May 28, prior to the class start date.
