Greenhill US Photography Shines at Local & National Competitions

Greenhill US Photography students once again put together a tremendous run of success at both the local and national competition levels. Below are some of the highlights from the various competitions.NATIONAL YOUNGARTS FOUNDATION
Greenhill senior Natalie Park was recognized as a Merit Award winner at the National YoungArts Foundation exhibition. She will not partake in a week of performances, master classes and exhibitions in Miami next month and will be considered a YoungArts alumnus.This past year, YoungArts recognized 700 of the nation's most promising young artists in the visual, literary, design, and performing arts. Selected from thousands of applications and representing artists from all across the country, YoungArts winners gain access to financial, professional, and artistic development opportunities through the course of their careers.Since 2009, Greenhill Photography has had an incredible run in this competition with seven Merit Awards, three Honorable Mention Awards, and five finalists.DREXEL HIGH SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
Greenhill senior Gabrielle Mallozzi was selected as a finalist at the Drexel High School Photography Contest, a yearly national contest. With thousands of images being submitted each year, there were only 170 chosen to exhibit at Drexel University. Mallozzi's work is currently hanging in the exhibition space at Drexel University and is eligible for future prize consideration.FORT WORTH COUNTRY DAY BLACK & WHITE CONTEST
Nine Greenhill students will have their work displayed at the 32nd Annual Fort Worth Country Day Black & White Contest, which is currently running through February 8. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 8, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm at Fort Worth Country Day and will be conducted by Byrd Williams, the curator and local prominent photographic scholar.Special congratulations to the following students:
