Greenhill Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

Seniors Maddie Hatfield, Lindsey Maxwell, and Sola Omonije each signed National Letters of Intent to NCAA Division I programs at a celebration in Rose Hall on Wednesday morning.
 
A signee to East Carolina University women's cross country team, Hatfield is a four-time All-Southwest Preparatory Conference selection and captured the SPC Invitational championship last weekend. This season, Hatfield posted the eighth-fastest time in the State of Texas with a mark of 17:30 and helped the Hornets capture their first SPC team crown since the 1985 season. East Carolina is a member of American Athletic Conference (AAC).
 
Maxwell is the newest signee to the Vanderbilt University women's lacrosse team. A goalie, Maxwell was named to the 2020 Adrenaline All-American Team and will participate in the All-American Game this upcoming summer. In addition, Maxwell was a Texas High School Girls Lacrosse League (THSGLL) Division I North All-State selection last season and was honored with All-Southwest Preparatory Conference accolades. The Greenhill senior is a member of the highly-competitive 214 Lacrosse Team. Vanderbilt University is a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
 
Omonije was a standout on the volleyball court during her time with the Hornets where she was a two-time All-Southwest Preparatory Conference selection. A member of the Skyline Juniors Volleyball Team, Omonije was a two-time Team Most Valuable Player as both a middle blocker and right-side hitter. Davidson College is a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
