Hornet Sports Report - October 30, 2019

FIELD HOCKEY
The Greenhill field hockey team improved to 8-6-1 overall, including 4-1 in SPC Counter action, after defeating E.S.D., 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
 
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The Greenhill girls volleyball team dropped a 3-0 road decision (25-19, 25-20, 25-14) to E.S.D. on Tuesday afternoon in SPC Counter action. The Hornets fell to 14-14 overall, including 2-3 in conference action.
 
Senior Natalie Neiman led the Hornets with 12 kills to go along with nine digs while Kaylee Chien finished with a team-high 12 assists. Alex Little added 11 digs while Lexie Stone and Sarah Luan each finished with eight digs, respectively.
 
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
The Greenhill boys volleyball team split a pair of contests with TBVA on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action. The Hornets - who are currently 12-15 overall - won the first match by a 2-1 score then fell in the follow-up contest by a 2-0 decision.
