Hornets Fall on Road at Austin Saints, 16-13

The Greenhill football team fell to 1-1 on the season after dropping a hard-fought 16-13 decision to the Austin Saints on Friday evening in Austin.After trailing 6-0 early in the second quarter, the Hornets were able to tie the game when quarterback Gregory Osler connected with Matias Henry for a 10-yard score. Trailing once again in the fourth quarter, Angelo Drossos found wide receiver Evan Sussman for a 21-yard score to tie the game at 13-13. The Saints were able to connect on a 39-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.Drossos completed 15-of-23 passes for 173 yards and a score to go along with a team-high 90 yards rushing. Osler connected on 4-of-8 passes for 37 yards and a score. Jake Nelson caught a team-high six passes for 71 yarsd while Johnny Thompson rushed for 41 yards and caught four passes for 57 yards.
