Quiz Bowl Team Captures First-Ever Varsity Tournament Title

The Greenhill Quiz Bowl team posted its first-ever first-place finish last weekend at the University of North Texas High School Varsity Quiz Bowl Tournament.Sophomore Daniel Rothstein along with freshmen Gokulan Anand, Jude Griffin, Josh Rubel, and Shruti Siva posted a 5-1 record during the preliminary rounds and entered the playoffs as the third-ranked team. After defeating Cistercian Prep School's "A" Team and Plano West "B" Team, the Greenhill US students earned a berth in the championship match. The team - which was down to three competitors in the finals - were able to secure the tournament title on the 20th and final question.Congratulations team on a outstanding victory!
