Founders' Place

Founders' Place was dedicated in 2010 to honor the courage of our founders - Bernard & Helen Fulton - as well as the pioneer faculty of 12 and student body of 62 who launched this improbable dream on September 11, 1950. Visitors of Greenhill can get a sense of the rich tradition of Greenhill School on the pillars that enclose Founders' Place. The story of Greenhill's earliest beginnings, and the vision of Bernard & Helen Fulton are perfectly inscribed into golden plaques located on each pillar. Nestled under a live oak grove just east of the Montgomery Library, this amphitheatre serves as a gathering place for classes, assemblies, students and teachers. The calming sounds of a waterfall located in the middle of Founders' Place allows for a true sense of individual reflection.
A pillar dedicated to the founders sits in the center of Founders' Place.
Founders' Place is a popular site for assemblies and classes.
