We offer several different options to get to know Greenhill, and we hope you will find something that is suited to your schedule. Below, you can read more about specific events.

Our Preschool and Lower School Preview Night allows families to meet and visit with our faculty in their classrooms, learn more about curriculum and culture, talk with current fourth grades and current parents, and tour the campus.

Middle School and Upper School Preview Night

Middle School and Upper School Preview Night is the perfect time for the whole family to visit Greenhill together. After our opening session, we welcome you to choose your own adventure! Faculty, coaches, key administrators, and current students and parents will be on hand to guide you through an evening of discovery. Whatever your questions, Preview Night is your chance to experience our community and ask the experts.

 

Middle School and Upper School Parent/Guardian Visits

Our Middle School and Upper School Parent/Guardian Visits give you a chance to experience Greenhill during a typical school day. You will learn more about how Greenhill is living our mission and values from key administrators, have time for Q&A, and spend time seeing classes in action during a full campus tour.
 

Optional Student Shadow Visits

We offer optional student shadow visits for Middle and Upper School applicants. Once you have submitted your application form and fee, look for the “Interview and Visit Form” in the parent portal checklist. You will have the option to schedule a student shadow visit when you fill out this form. Applicants will have the opportunity to visit classes and have lunch with a host as well as complete their interview while visiting.  
 
Visits start in late September and continue through January. Available dates will be updated throughout the year. We may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants a visit, and we encourage you to complete your application and Interview and Visit Form early to ensure that we are able to schedule you.

Virtual Alumni Admission Information Session

Fall 2024, Date to be announced

Join us for a virtual admission information session and Q&A specifically for alumni and former students. You’ll hear from Fredston Head of School Lee Hark and Admission and Enrollment Management Director Maryanna Phipps about the admission timeline and process.
 

Hornet Tours

If you are unable to join us for a Parent/Guardian event or Admission Preview, or if you would prefer to join a small group tour, we welcome you to register for a Hornet Tour. Our student Hill Guides lead our tours and they usually last 45 minutes – 1 hour. We request registration as tour sizes will be limited. Check-in will begin in the Marshall Performing Arts Center lobby a few minutes prior to the tour departure time.

Middle School and Upper School Hornet Tours are one to two times a month during the school year. They begin at 9:00 am and last 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Virtual Financial Aid Night

In January, join Director of Financial Aid Amy deBorst for an online information session about Greenhill financial aid. We will review our financial aid philosophy and process, and provide practical tips for completing the application.
