Greenhill Musicians Earn All-State Band Chairs

Over the weekend, musicians from north Texas public and private schools gathered for the ATSSB North Area Band Auditions at Ranchview High School. Pranav Joshi ’24, Rachel Jiang ’26, Sanay Nesargi ’26, Ayne Park ’24, and Christan Park ’25 represented Greenhill band, and two earned a chair in the ATSSB All-State Band for 3A/2A/1A (schools with enrollments under 544 students).

Ayne was 1st chair overall flute. This is her third year to make the band, and she qualifies for an ATSSB 3-Year All-State Band college scholarship. Rachel was 2nd chair overall flute. Pranav, Sanay, and Christan were alternates.

Ayne and Rachel will travel to San Antonio on February 8-11 to take part in the TMEA/ATSSB All-State weekend. The All-State concert is Saturday, February 11 at 8:00 am in the Lila Cockrell Auditorium.
