Visitors (parents and guardians)
To ensure the continued safety of our students and faculty, entry to buildings will be limited to students, faculty, and staff. Thank you for using carpool for drop-off and pick-up and not congregating on campus.
Nurses and Medical Clinic
We will have two summer nurses on call with us again this year. Any prescription medication to be received by a student during school hours must be in its original container with the name of the student, name of the medication, dosage amount, and time the medication is to be administered. All prescription medications will be stored in the Lower School Clinic. A medication form must be completed at the time the medication is given to the nurse. Medications will be collected by the school nurse or a staff member during Monday carpool and will be returned on Friday each week. Details to follow.
Student Shot Records
All students under the age of 6 are required to submit current immunization records. Please submit this information to the school nurse by email to
Campers on campus for full day camps or attending a morning camp followed by an afternoon camp must bring a lunch and a drink each day. Lunches and drinks should be clearly marked with the student’s name. Microwaves and refrigeration are not available. Students will eat with their cohort outside or in their classroom and will be supervised for lunch.
Students attending camps will have a break in the morning and the afternoon. Students are welcome to bring a snack for breaks.
Allergy Aware School
Greenhill School is an Allergy Aware School. Please do not send items with peanuts or peanut butter in your child’s lunch or snack. However, your child may include other nuts or nut butter (cashew, almond, soy) in his/her own lunch, as lunches are self-contained, and other nut allergies do not lend themselves as easily to reactions from touch and smell as peanuts do. All children will be asked to wash their hands before and after lunch to minimize the risk of a touch reaction.
What to Bring
Water bottle, sunscreen, surgical or cloth masks, and snacks. Sports equipment and swimsuits/towels if applicable to your camp choice. A nut-free lunch if you are in a 9:00 am-3:00 pm camp or attending a morning camp followed by an afternoon camp.
Please wear comfortable t-shirts and shorts, closed toe or tennis shoes are preferred. Sneakers and socks are encouraged for those participating in camps.
Many campers will swim in the indoor pool or participate in a splash day while at camp. Instructors will provide advance notice of these occasions. Students will need a swimsuit, towel, and a plastic bag to carry wet items.
Bike Racks
Campers enrolled in cycling camps may leave their bikes overnight in the bike racks near the Phillips Family Athletic Center. Coaches will lock all bikes to the rack after camp each day.
Preschool Students
Preschool students will attend camps in the Lower School and Early Childhood Building. Children must be 3 years old on or before May 1, 2022, to attend our age 3 ABC program. All children must be completely toilet trained, without assistance from an adult, to attend camps. Parents of preschool-aged children will receive specific instructions on a designated drop-off and pick-up area. All children registered in our Exploring ABC's and 123"s camp, attending all-day, will have a rest period. You may want to send a small blanket, towel, quiet toy, or book for the rest time. Please label all items that you send.
Extended Day Care
Extended Day will be offered from 7:30 am-9:00 and 3:00 pm-5:30 pm weeks 2-11 or May 31-August 5.
Pick-Up Authorization
On the registration form, please provide the name, phone number and driver’s license number of each adult authorized to pick up, including parents. You will be provided a carpool tag via email prior to the start of camp.
