Greenhill Quiz Bowl Team Finishes Third at St. Mark's Competition

The Greenhill Quiz Bowl Team recorded a third-place showing this past weekend at the St. Mark's School of Texas Quiz Bowl Competition.
 
The team of Sam Grimsley, Michelle King, Jake Mazow and Beckham Myers posted a 6-1 record during the preliminary rounds before earning a first-round bye in the playoffs. The team went 2-1 during the playoff rounds en route to finishing third overall. Greenhill's B Team consisting of Ryan Becker, Sudeep Bhargava, Erin McGuire and Grant Morgan also did an outstanding job in their eight matches.
 
A group of students will now attend the Middle School State Competition set for March 23rd.
