Greenhill sophomores, Rodrigo Gomez-Palacio and Evan White, will be studying abroad during the 2012-2013 school year.
Greenhill sophomores, Rodrigo Gomez-Palacio and Evan White, will be studying abroad during the 2012-2013 school year.
Rodrigo will be studying in Rennes, France, while Evan will be in Beijing, China. Each boy has studied the native language of the country he is visiting.
All School Year Abroad students stay with host-families, and are immersed in the language and culture. The students take classes during the week, and have various opportunities to see the rest of the country.
“Why wouldn’t I go?” says Rodrigo, “This was the perfect opportunity to grow as a person, increase my self confidence, leadership, world skills, and become fluent in a third language. Also, I am confident that I will form incredible relationships and new friends.”
