Greenhill librarian Katie Beth Miller presented "Instant Graphic Novel Gratification" at the 1001 Great Ideas Showcase this past week in Houston at the Texas Library Association Conference.

Greenhill librarian Katie Beth Miller presented "Instant Graphic Novel Gratification" at the 1001 Great Ideas Showcase this past week in Houston at the Texas Library Association Conference.
 
Miller's presentation featured creative ways that she promotes the graphic novel collection, including booktalks, book trailers, email promotions, blogging, Glogster signs and QR codes - all of which have increased the circulation of this collection in the Montgomery Library.
 
The 1001 Great Ideas Showcase features best practices in library operations and other services representing all library types.
