Greenhill seniors Lyall Stuart and Azhar Unwala received the David P. Baker Award at the National Debate Coaches Association National Championships.

Greenhill seniors Lyall Stuart and Azhar Unwala received the David P. Baker Award at the National Debate Coaches Association National Championships. The award, which is named after the former St. Mark’s School of Texas debate coach, is given to the policy debate team that has amassed the most points by their success in national circuit tournaments during the regular debate season.
 
The team had more than 12 major championships, four of which were at prestigious invitational debates hosted by Glenbrooks, Blake School, Montgomery Bell Academy, and Harvard, a feat previously accomplished by one other high school debate team in history. Stuart and Unwala also won two invitation-only Round Robin tournaments at Northwestern and Harvard Universities.
