About Campus Life

Map your own direction
There's a world of opportunities available to Greenhill students, and charting your own unique path is one of the most gratifying parts of the Greenhill experience. Get involved and you may surprise yourself.

Music ensembles, theatrical productions—including the longest running kindergarten production of The Nutcracker Suite with live music in the Dallas area (maybe anywhere!), over 100-student run clubs ranging from the Ecology Club to Improv Troupe, volunteer activities that really improve lives, sports-competitive and just-for-fun, a student-produced print and online newspaper with streaming video, student government, a sustainability committee that actually has the power to make changes with an impact.

A coed community that feels like a family
Greenhill sets aside time every month for groups of students of all ages to do activities together (we call them Heart of the Hill Legacy Groups, and they feel like families of brothers and sisters). The older students like getting together with boys and girls from different grades, and the lower school children are thrilled to have the chance to spend time with big kids.

And we regularly sponsor campus visits from a range of speakers. Our Visions of the Future program, for instance, brings experts from a variety of interesting fields—like computer-aided speech—to share their experiences with Greenhill Students. And rock bands come to perform and discuss the craft of music making. We call it Rocktalk and have hosted Bowling for Soup, The Fray and Saving Abel among others.

Just a sampling from the tempting array of opportunities on campus. The hard part is choosing.
