Performing Arts

The Greenhill Performing Arts program is comprised of band, choir, dance, strings and theatre. Students have the opportunity to learn from some of the finest teachers and artists as they develop and enhance their artistic skills.

Beginning in primary grades, art is offered to everyone on a weekly rotation, but in middle school, students may choose from a variety of courses to express their creativity. Students may further their abilities in all disciplines through specialized courses upon arriving in upper school.

The Greenhill student productions have been widely-received in North Texas and have featured adaptations of The Wedding Singer, Suessical The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Metamorphoses, 12 Angry Jurors and The Good Doctor to name a few.

The Greenhill bands serve the school and community at a variety of functions. While the primary focus is concert band, it also includes jazz band, jazz combo, brass choice, woodwind choir, percussion, ensemble and pep band. The Greenhill bands have been recognized over the years by the Association of Texas Small School Bands and Texas Private School Musical Educators Association.
