Welcome to Fine Arts

The Arts are everywhere at Greenhill!

From the whimsical 2-D collage cityscapes in the halls of Lower School to the Greenhill Singers and instrumentalists performing for graduation at the Meyerson, one can see and hear the arts throughout the year. Greenhill students have arts opportunities that begin with music and art beginning in Early Childhood and Lower School. Fine Arts offerings expand in Middle School to include band, orchestra, choir, theater, dance, and more specialized visual art classes.

In Upper School, students continue to hone their artistic interests with advanced opportunities in all these classes as well as photography, debate, filmmaking, and technical theater. By the time Fine Arts students are in Upper School, their work is recognized not only in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but also nationally.

The Greenhill Fine Arts program inspires creativity, growth, confidence, self-assurance and life-long enjoyment of the arts. Graduates frequently pursue their artistic endeavors in college. Many alums make the arts their life careers from Broadway to L.A. and everywhere in between.

The talented Fine Arts faculty are not only dedicated instructors, but are also recognized artists in the community. By instilling in their students a great passion for the arts, the teachers allow each student the belief and confidence that success in the arts is within their reach.

After over three decades as Head of Fine Arts at Greenhill, knowing that each student from the youngest to the oldest will bring their own sense of wonderment to make each year a new adventure, I still wake up every day excited to go to school!
