Hornet Sports Report - December 12, 2016

Boys Basketball
The Greenhill boys basketball team captured the 2016 Van Griffin KIA Granbury Invitational this past weekend and improved its overall record to 14-4 in the process. The Hornets fell to Everman High School, 74-70 in double overtime, before rebounding to win a pair of games against Lovejoy High School (59-47) and Granbury High School (67-56) in the championship game.
 
Girls Soccer
The Greenhill girls soccer team posted a split on its weekend road trip to Houston and are currently 3-3 on the 2016-17 season. The Hornets opened up action on Friday evening where they fell to Kinkaid School by a 3-1 count with Rheagan Smith scoring the team's lone goal. On Saturday, Smith scored a hat trick while Emma Kaiser added a goal en route to leading the Hornets to a 4-2 victory over Houston Christian High School.
 
Boys Soccer
The Greenhill boys soccer team increased its winning streak to six matches after defeating Kinkaid School (2-1) and Houston Christian High School (2-1) this past weekend. The Hornets are currently 7-1 on the 2016-17 season.
