Greenhill Junior Named Player to Watch by Horns247 Sports
Greenhill rising junior Kassidy Woods was selected as one of the top-five offensive prospects at The University of Texas' Satellite Football Camp on Friday at Brinkmann Field.
The camp - which was made up primarily of 2018 prospects - was put together by head coach Charlie Strong as well as the Longhorn coaching staff. This is the second Satellite Football Camp that Greenhill has hosted as the Jim Harbaugh and his University of Michigan coaching staff paid a visit last week.
Below is the report from Jeff Howe and EJ Holland of Horns247 Sports.
Kassidy Woods, Wide Receiver There were some quality wide receivers in the camp but as the evening wore on the 6-foot-2, 191-pound Woods kept making play, after play, after play and might have been the best of the bunch among the true outside receivers. While his top-end speed remains a mystery in terms of what he can run, his footwork, body control and ability to attack the football in the air were all tools he was able to show.
