Hornets Finish Sixth Overall at SPC Spring Championships

The Greenhill boys golf team finished sixth overall at the 2016 SPC Spring Championships held at the Woodforest Golf Club in Houston on Tuesday.Senior Evan Haynes was the Hornets' top performer after finishing eighth overall, which also earned him All-SPC honors, with a 36-hole score of 151 (77-74). Junior Aaron Haynes tied for 15th overall with a score of 158 (80-78) while junior Luis Perales finished tied for 22nd overall with a score of 160 (79-81). Senior Samuel Downie finished 64th overall with a score of 180 (94-86), and sophomore Brock Bagelman shot a 36-hole score of 182 (93-89) en route to finishing tied for 67th overall.Kinkaid School captured the team championship with a tournament score of 584 while St. Mark's School of Texas (611), John Cooper School (621), Holland Hall School (640), Episcopal School of Dallas (641) and Greenhill (648) rounded out the top-six.
