Hornet Sports Report - September 28, 2016

Girls Volleyball
The Greenhill girls volleyball team notched its 20th victory of the season after posting a 3-1 victory (25-20, 25-22, 24-26, 25-18) over Hockaday School on Tuesday afternoon in SPC Counter action.
 
The Hornets - who improved to 20-7 overall and 1-0 in conference action - were led by junior Jessica Pugh, who recorded a double-double following a 15-dig, 14-kill performance. Michal Mathis notched a career-high 21 digs to go along with nine digs while Megan Olomu and Natalie Neiman each added eight kills in the contest. Allie Frymire recorded a double-double with 35 assists and 10 digs to go along with five kills and two service aces. Arfa Chowdhary notched a career-high 11 digs in the contest.
 
Field Hockey
The Greenhill field hockey team suffered a 1-0 setback at home on Tuesday afternoon to Hockaday School in SPC Counter action. The Hornets fell to 2-6 on the season, including 0-1 in SPC action.
