Senior Selected to Forty Acres Scholars Program Class of 2020
Greenhill senior Ryan Diebner was selected to be part of the Forty Acres Scholars Program Class of 2020, which was announced by The University of Texas at Austin's Alumni Association - Texas Exes.
Diebner - who is the recipient of the Ray & Denise Nixon Forty Acres Scholarship - served as the captain of Greenhill's boys volleyball and baseball teams as well as the business manager for student newspaper, The Evergreen. In addition, Diebner was a U.S. Presidential Scholar Nominee and selected as Greenhill's Most Distinguished Math and Science student.
The Greenhill senior was one of 21 students selected from the over 3,400 students that applied for The University of Texas at Austin's premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship. The Forty Acres Scholars Program, which is administered by the Texas Exes, offers a rich college experience that provides academic, leadership and cultural opportunities within the close-knit cohort of fellow scholars. In addition, funding provides for tuition, a living stipend, book stipend and an enrichment stipend for approved academic, leadership, professional and service activities.
