Greenhill Photography Students Earn State and Local Honors

Greenhill Upper School students Mira Fradkin and Lily Duggan were recently honored for their photographic work showcased in contests around the State of Texas.

A junior, Fradkin finished the 2015-16 school year ranked in the top-10 among all photography students in the state as part of the Association of Texas Photographic Instructors end of the year contest, The Texas Imagemakers. The Texas Imagemakers compiles the top-10 students in the state based on awards received in the state and national photo contests during the school year.

Duggan, a sophomore, placed third overall in The Goss-Michael Foundation's annual "Retail as Art" Contest, which is designed to showcase photographic interpretations of Dallas/Fort Worth high school students. The contest showcases local photographic talent, celebrates and captures the true essence of retail and rewards the winners and their schools for their talents and efforts. Duggan will receive a $1,500 scholarship award for placing third in the event.

Congratulations Mira & Lily!
