Greenhill Senior Signs National Letter of Intent with Tulsa

Greenhill senior Jacob Pugh signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his football career with The University of Tulsa on Monday morning in Rose Hall.

The 6-2, 290 lb. offensive and defensive lineman became the first Hornets' player to sign a National Letter of Intent under current Greenhill head coach Tom Williams. Widely-regarded as one of the top interior lineman in the Southwest Preparatory Conference, Pugh helped the Hornets this season post their best record since the 2003 season and earned all-conference laurels in 2014.

Pugh will continue his gridiron career under Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery, who guided the Golden Hurricane to a 6-7 record this past season and a berth in the Camping World Independent Bowl.

Pugh is the grandson of Dallas Cowboy great Jethro Pugh.
