Greenhill Senior Named Debate Student of Year Award Finalist

Greenhill senior Mitali Mathur `15 has been named a finalist for the 2015 William Woods Tate, Jr. Memorial National Student of the Year Award sponsored by the National Speech & Debate Association.Earlier this season, Mathur became only one of five students in the country to earn a spot on the USA Debate Team, which will compete at the World Championships in Singapore this summer. In addition, Mathur helped the Greenhill Debate Team capture its third consecutive Texas Forensic Association State Tournament Championship, which was held in El Paso over Spring Break.The announcement for the National Speech & Debate Association will be held on June 19th.Congratulations Mitali!
