Hornet Sports Report - October 29, 2014

Girls Volleyball
The Greenhill girls volleyball team improved to 24-11 overall and 6-1 in SPC Counter action after taking down Episcopal School of Dallas in straight sets (25-19, 25-14, 25-20) on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Ellen Margaret Andrews posted a double-double for the Hornets with a 12-kill, 11-dig performance to go along with five kills and two service aces. Danielle Milner nearly missed a triple-double with 12 assists, nine kills and seven digs. Carly Raskin posted a team-high 16 digs, and Jessica Pugh chipped in with nine digs, six kills and two service aces.
 
Boys Volleyball
The Greenhill boys volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback (25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 25-15) to St. Mark's School of Texas on Tuesday evening in SPC Counter action.
 
Chandler Notley led the Hornets with a double-double following a 20-kill, 11-dig performance to go along with 1.5 blocks. Grayson Taylor also added a double-double with 36 assists and 10 digs while Ryan Diebner notched a team-high 23 digs in the contest. Rishi Vas posted five kills and three digs, and Hartley McGuire added 10 digs and three kills.
 
The Hornets fell to 17-13 overall, including 3-4 in SPC Counter action, following the loss.
 
Field Hockey
The Greenhill field hockey team improved to 12-3-2 overall, including 5-2 in SPC Counter action, after shutting out Episcopal School of Dallas, 3-0, on Tuesday afternoon.
