Vogel Alcove Honors Greenhill's Service Learning Program

Greenhill School Service Learning & Community Service Program was honored last week with the Volunteer Award at Vogel Alcove's Third Annual Ambassadors of Hope Awards Luncheon at the Omni Dallas Convention Center.Under the direction of Director of Service Learning & Community Service Sally Rosenberg, Greenhill has a long-standing relationship with Vogel Alcove, sending nearly 1,000 volunteers that have given more than 4,000 hours of service since the two organizations starting working together almost two decades ago. The Greenhill School faculty, staff & students have participated in hundreds of community service projects and plays an integral role in the school's educational philosophy and curriculum.Greenhill's Upper School students work activitely with Vogel Alcove's teen volunteer group and helps the organization work on specific projects every year during the School's annual Community Service Day. The Service Learning & Community Service Program at Greenhill allows students the opportunity to make a positive contribution on the Dallas community by encouraging service at every grade level.
