Greenhill Students and Alumni Receive Film Recognition

The Greenhill film students have received tremendous national and international praise this past month for their work.
 
At this weekend's Austin Film Festival, Greenhill will have three films represented in their Young Filmmakers Program. Below is a list of the films appearing at the Austin Film Festival.
 
Cleveland by Jonah Goldberg '17, Jason Davis '17, Dirk Czarnecki '17 and Jackson Daughety.
 
Reynold by Cole Forson '17, Jason Davis '17, Sudeep Bhargava '18 and Ben Kuiper '19
 
Gifted by Grace Doyle '18, Jennie Ross, Emily Budarapu '19, Anusha Rao '20 and Luke Jacobs
 
In addition, Jade '15 and Pearl '14 Basinski's film, Not Your Average Joe was shown at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas and awarded with a Women in Film Grant. The film also appeared in the Dallas International Film Festival last year.
 
Nick Cannon's '16 film, Date Night, was accepted to the Cinq a Sept Film Festival in Montreal.
 
Mia Krumerman's '16 film, Pirouette was accepted to the Varsity Brands All-American Film Festival.
 
Caila Pickett '15 and Max Montoya's '13 film, Seawolf, starring Alison Thieberg was accepted to the Chicago Critics Film Festival, which is an invitation-only festival. In addition, it was nominated for Best Editing at the Massachusetts Independent FIlm Festival as well as Seoul International Film Festival.
