Travis McElroy '08 Honored at Davidson College

Travis W. McElroy '08 has been inducted into the Richard R. Bernard Society of Mathematics at Davidson College The Bernard Society promotes interest in mathematics among students as it honors Professor Emeritus Richard Bernard and his many contributions to the study of mathematics at Davidson. Membership in the Bernard Society is a special honor for the departmental majors and others with outstanding interest and ability in mathematics. McElroy is a mathematics major with a minor in Spanish. He is a member of the College Union Board Concert Committee and the Lake Campus Committee. He also participates in Pep Band, Jazz Ensemble, and club-level swimming. McElroy also spent a summer in Cadiz, Spain, with a Davidson study abroad program.
